Dr.D, Greetings,

Thank you for the wonderful job you are doing and that is to truely bringing to us
your cutting-edge concepts and holistic modalities to the art of healing. There is no
question in my mind that this in one of the realistic ways to approach dysfunctions of
the human body and using a natural approach to healing.

I always knew from earlier on that our approach to health and wellness was trucking
in the wrong direction and quite frankly, we are continuing in this direction and it spells
real health crisis in the immediate future.

I have reviewed over 80 million laboratory blood tests spanning over 30 years, where,
after a while you can predict the outcome of one's health challenge based on the
numbers but I also knew that most of the outcomes were preventable as well as
looking at the dysfunctions at the cellular level and correct the dysfunctions at the
cellular level then the dysfunctions would not plateau into symptoms and diseases.

With this in mind, can you through your wisdom, correlate symptoms to dietary
deficiencies and if so what are some on the most common chronic health conditions
that can be corrected with dietary influences?

Respectfully,
Dr.Mohamed.

As you are, no doubt, aware - symptoms can be very illusive and deceiving. While there are some symptoms which consistently represent dietary imbalances and deficiencies, without a clear, consistent and objective means of determining what's causing what and/or what is the cause and what is the effect it is likely that we will misinterpret or miss altogether as much as 30% of the true causal factors.

One of the reasons I developed the matrix assesssment profile is to help me quickly relegate symptoms to a cause within one of three realms - physical, biochemical or virtual (psycho-emotional-spiritual). Using this protocol I always start with a basic assessment of biochemistry. My thinking in approaching symptoms in this way is that given a symptom or concern and a consistent biochemical profile assessment, if I see something in the biochemistry potentially associated with the symptoms - I can than introduce a protocol based upon this suspicion. Following the protocol I re-evaluate what I used to make the decision as to appropriate intervention and have found consistent responses which then lead me to a more complete understanding of cause.

For instance, in follow-up, if the biochemical profile improves but the symptoms do not - I know that what I'm seeing in the biologiccal fluids is an effect of another cause. Obviously, if both improve - the problem is solved, so we explore what will be required to prevent it from reoccurring and what we'll need to implement to maintain what we've created. If the problem is not solved, we now have a very clear direction for resolve. This is why typically 90% of the people who commit to this process get 90% of their results within 90 days.

The only exception is if if the tisse, organ or gland involved in the problem has deteriorated to the point where it is incapable of responding to productive stimuli - then we must institute a program designed to manage the remaining healthy tissues and/or organic relationships associated with the residual symptoms.

Thank you so much for your question. I look forward to your dialogue!

With respect,
DRD

Hi Dr. D,
I've been reading alot about Vitamin D supplementation and the positive effects it has on the immune system, especially fighting off the flu. I would like to know if it is safe for an expectant mother to supplement with Vitamin D, and if so, how much should I take daily, what are the best sources, etc? Any info you can share on this would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!
Emily

I've been reading too! I changed my diet from raw to animal protein and fewer carbs. I have seen a remarkable difference in a short time. I decided to go the Weston Price route. It is his opinion that vitamin D needs to be taken with vitamin A. In that sense cod liver oil taken with high vitamin buitter oil is his recommendation. There are good fish oil products out there with naturally occuring vitamins D and A and there are some products that contain artificial vitamins. Don't take the artificial ones. Green Pastures makes good organic products. Have your level of vitamin D tested to know how much to take but food source vitamins are not toxic. Weston Price claims that 1 tsp. of high vitamin CLO contains 10,000 iu of vitamin D. Dr. D recommended Biotic Research brand of EFA's to me. The company had manufacturing issues and couldn't supply my order. I found a different source and I'm happy in Green Pastures!
